6 Schedule
Full season schedule for selected sport (league). 7 Matchup Matchup information includes projected score (average runs, points or goals based on projection) and descriptive game information like game date/time and venue. For MLB-matchups a ballpark specific Park Factor is also presented, which tells whether the ballpark is more pitcher- (under 100) or hitter (over 100) friendly. 8 Projections This is the most important information where all data and calculations are compressed to a single number. The projections are dependent on the user-defined handicapping settings and they are calculated only using information (data) that was available at the game date. Read more here. 9 Team ratings Team ratings are weighted averages of the presented statistics for the selected lineups. Each player gets a projected playing time (or projected innings pitched, projected plate appearences etc.) which is used for the calculation. 100 is league average, which means that a team with a number above 100 has a better and a team with a number below 100 has at worse rating for the presented statistics. The ratings are dependent on the user-defined handicapping settings. 10 Team stats Team stats (full team) and averages for the selected lineups. If you are viewing a matchup (game) which has been completed some time ago, the numbers might differ from real-time numbers because they are calculated only using information (data) that was available at the game date. 11 Lineups The lineups (starting pitchers, lineups and bullpens for MLB) are obtained online once published. Read more here. 12 Weather (MLB) Weather information for the current matchup (game). Temperature is considered (if selected in Settings) when creating a run environment for the matchup. The temperature in parenthesis is the long-term average temperature for the home team ballpark. If the ballpark has a retractable roof or is a dome, that is also considered when creating a run environment for the matchup. 13 Place bet
Make your selection and press the 'Place Bet' -button. The selection is stored in a file named 'betHistory.txt', which can be found in the \user -folder. 14 Open bets List of bets that have not been "settled". Bets are usually "settled" with the next data update after the game date. |
